Heart Sacred Heart of Jesus Niche Heart-2
Update

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Niche has been installed.

Niche

The total cost for the project was $13,866.22.  To date, the total donations received is $10,204.75.  We want to thank everyone who made a contribution.

It is a custom in the Catholic Church to remember those in prayer who have given money for a special project, which goes over and beyond one’s regular tithe.  Those items usually include church furnishings, the sacred vessels used for the Sacred Liturgy and the stained glass windows.  In similar fashion, a plaque will be fashioned with the engraved names of those who gave a special donation for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Niche and placed in the narthex of the church.     If you would like to be a part of this project please make a check payable to Sacred Heart of Mary Parish and write in the memo line for “the statue.”

Daily Catechism Readings

NOT CATHOLIC AND HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CATHOLIC FAITH?

WANT TO BEGIN THE PREPARATION TO BECOME CATHOLIC?

A pre-evangelization/inquiry Night will begin on Thursday, March 6, in Saint Scholastica.  The class provides people the opportunity to ask questions about the Catholic Faith; or, bring his or her preparation to become Catholic.  These classes will provide the necessary foundation for someone that desires to enter the R.C.I.A. in the month of September.

The Inquiry Nights will read the Gospel of Saint Mark.  The classes provide people also an opportunity to establish a relationship with parishioners and thereby begin to experience life in the Parish, which includes the Catholic culture (prayers, devotion, and the Mass).  Most importantly, the evenings offer the inquirer an opportunity to begin or deepen his or her relationship with the Living Person Jesus of Nazareth and the Catholic Church.

The first Inquiry Evening will meet on Thursday, March 6, at 7:30 P.M. for no more than an hour.

God bless, Fr. Mallick
