Tithing Renewal will happen on the weekends of November 9th and the 23rd. Please begin to consider prayerfully the financial sacrifice you will make to God for the 2015 Calendar Year. God does not need your money. It is we that need to give back to God. A parish financial summary was mailed to each registered parish household the first week of November. In the mean time...
Did you know that keeping the grounds this year cost the Parish in the neighborhood of $18,000.00? The Fire security monitoring system costs the Parish monthly, $500.00
Time and Talent
Apostolates and Ministries
It has been the Parish custom to have a Sunday Time and Talent Renewal. At that time, a sheet containing all the various apostolates and ministries of the next calendar year would be distributed. Parishioners would take a form, mark the way they would give selflessly, and then return the form. For the 2015 Calendar Year, that format has been modified.
This year rather than having a sheet that lists all the apostolates and ministries, only the ongoing ones will be listed (For example, the liturgical ministries and the homebound apostolate).
Those apostolates, such as the Native American Clothing Drive, CGS or the Parish Jubilee Garden which happen at specific times of the year will be advertised as the apostolate happens.
The theme of the Parish is Learn, Live and Love. The concrete way we can love selflessly is by making a commitment to the various apostolates and ministries of the Parish.
Two areas that always need a parishioner's selfless commitment are: the ministry of ushering and the homebound/nursing apostolate. Please give prayerful discernment to either.

• The Topic for November 23 is :
The Last Things
Deep in the human heart is the question: "What hapens after we die?" Jesus reveals the "Last Things" - Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell - and what we need to do now to prepare for eternity.
Dear Sacred Heart of Mary Parishioners,
As of September 30th, the contributions to the Sacred Heart of Mary Parish Fund at the Catholic Fundation equaled $8,200. The Catholic Fund will match the contributions but the goal of $10,000 must be met. It would be a true blessing if some parish households could contribute an additional $1,800 Before the end of the year. We are so close!
This Foundation is for the benefit of Sacred Heart of Mary Parish for the legal protection and professional management of your generosity and the long term care of our parish.
